IMAGING THE SKY '98

This year will be the fourth Imaging the Sky, and this one promises to be an extravaganza of color CCD imaging information for the amateur astronomer.

The event will take place Friday and Saturday, November 6th and 7th, at the Tokyo International University of America's campus in Salem, Oregon (actually a part of Willamette University).

Featured guests this year will be...

Pioneer of algorithms for producing one-step, spectacular true-color images of deep sky objects (visit his web site)
Chuck Shaw and Al Kelly
Pioneers of four-color imaging techniques.

Learn about:

1. Producing accurate color images
2. Breakthrough process of quad-color imaging
3. One-step image synthesis
4. How to acquire necessary raw data in the field
5. Upcoming CMY technique
6. Color printers/monitor optimization
